Complaints Procedure

Do you have a complaint, or do you want to make a suggestion? You can find our Complaints Procedure here.

Accessible Information Standard Requirement

The Accessible Information Standard aims to ensure that patients (or their carers) who have a disability or sensory loss receive information they can access and understand. For example in large print, braille or via email. As part of the Accessible Information Standard we must:

• Identify patients who may have an additional communication need.
• Record the patient’s need in our clinical GP system.
• Flag the patient’s record to assure additional communication needs are obvious to practice staff;
• Share this information with other care givers such as social care.

• Act to ensure our staff can effectively communicate with patients who may have additional communication needs. If you feel this applies to you, or someone you care for please let us know via e-mail, phone, letter or in-person.

Named Accountable GP for all Patients

Under the GMS Contract all Practices are required to inform their patients including all children of their named accountable GP. The named GP will have overall responsibility for the care and support the Practice provides to its patients.

Dr.Hadid is the named GP for all patients registered at Rosewood Practice. But patients can still see any GP working at Rosewood Practice.

Phlebotomy Hub

The GP Confederation has made Rosewood Practice a Phlebotomy Hub where patients from other Practices can come to have their Blood Test. Their Blood test results will then be sent by Homerton Hospital via GP links to their respective Practices . This service is being provided by the Practice Healthcare Assistant Sonia Kaur . To book an appointment with her please phone on 0203 928 0555.

Registering with the Practice

The practice operates a policy of non-discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, social class, age, religion, sexual orientation, appearance, disability or medical condition from patients wishing to join the practice.

Disabled Patients

The surgery is purpose built to facilitate patients in wheelchairs.

Abusive Behaviour

The practice also operates a policy of zero tolerance in respect to abusive behaviour by patients towards the practice staff. Patients are expected to treat the staff politely. The practice reserves the right to remove a patient from the list in-case of abusive behaviour.

GP mean earnings

From 31st March 2016 all GP Practices are required to publish the mean earnings (average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for Dr. Hadid who is a single handed GP at Rosewood Practice in the last financial year (2020-2021) was £64.000 before tax.
